When it comes to weather in Quebec, we know it can be a little all over the place. This week, la belle province is going to see the four seasons in seven days in Quebec as MétéoMédia predicts temperatures of 40 C in some areas and a chance of snow in others.

"At the beginning of the week, over southern Quebec, temperatures will reach 35, or even 40, due to a very present humidex. However, this will be short-lived, as a system will pass over the province on Tuesday. Behind the cold front, temperatures will drop and the contrast will be well felt," MétéoMédia claimed.

The weather is likely to be all over the place from Sunday to Tuesday this week as Environment Canada has issued heat alerts in several areas in Quebec.

MétéoMédia is also warning of thunderstorms and a possible tornado risk in some parts of southern Quebec. In these areas, "a warm and humid air mass will persist through Tuesday" with a humidex value of 40 C.

In a press conference Tuesday, Quebec Premier François Legault named four Montreal areas that, with more than 450 active cases per 100,000 inhabitants, he said had among the highest rates of active COVID-19 cases in Quebec.
