To make things even more 2020-esque, this year's theme is a Venetian masked ball. Couldn't have designed it better ourselves.
15 designers have been chosen for this year's official collection and we're proud to say that two Montreal talents, namely V-Franz and Evan Biddell,* have made the cut.

V-Franz created something edgy, yet feminine.Â

V-Franz is a Montreal-based label that "offers 'Cool, Chic and Modern' clothing for those who dare to be different," for what they call "a new cult of cool kids," according to its website.Â
The label was founded by Vfranz Bernil in 2012 while still in school for design at LaSalle College and has been taking the Canadian fashion scene by storm, including features publications, like Dress To Kill, Fiora and Clin d’oeil.
This year's design for the Cashmere Collection Masquerade Ball offers a modern take on elegant chic, combining the soft, feminine ballgown, with elements of a structured, powerful tuxedo.
The look combines pink and white toilet paper and lots of beading and sequins to really take it to the next level. Complete with a mask for an air of sophisticated mystery.Â
Evan Biddell designed a look that's classic, modern and timeless all at once.Â

When it comes to streetwear that's effortless, elegant and show-stopping, Evan Biddell is definitely what comes to mind.
The Montreal-based designer has become a powerhouse in the world of fashion. Name looking a bit familiar? Evan was the first-ever winner of Project Runway Canada back in 2007.
For the Cashmere Collection Masquerade Ball, the design is filled with texture and layers, yet is absolutely light and whimsical, kind of like its designer.
The horizontal pleating is gorgeously flattering and the strapless neckline boasts the garment's simplicity and grace.
Slap on a pair of heels and a mask and you've got a look that'll make any street in town your own personal runway.
Your vote will go to breast cancer research, plus you could win big.
Canadians are invited to vote for their favourite design in the annual Vote Couture for the Cure.
For every vote cast, Cashmere will donate $1 to the Canadian Cancer Society's breast cancer program (up to $10,000) in the winning designer's name.
And if that wasn't incredible enough, Kruger Products, the maker of Cashmere, will be making a donation in the name of the 2020 designers to The Frontline Fund, a network of over 160 hospitals across the country.
Each voter will also be entered to win $1,500.
So all around, it's a win-win-win!
