Mayor Valérie Plante has shown her support for Joe Bidden and Kamala Harris on multiple occasions already.

On November 3, the night of the 2020 U.S. election, the mayor tweeted "Good luck @JoeBiden. @KamalaHarris, your high school city is rooting for you!" as Harris spent some of her formative years in Montreal, attending Westmount High School.

Yesterday evening, Plante took to showing her support for the projected new U.S. vice-president by turning a photo of herself into a "My face when..." meme.

It's looking like former Montrealer, Kamala Harris, is set to become the first female vice-president of the United States, according to AP projections — and her alma mater, Westmount High School (WHS), "couldn't be more proud." 

Harris moved to Montreal at the age of 12 and attended WHS when her mother, Dr. Shyamala Harris, got a position at the Jewish General Hospital and McGill University.

Naturally, Harris's former high school took to Twitter to react to the news — as you do when your alumna is set to wind up in the White House.
