We spoke to Montreal astrologer Eliza Robertson for insight on each zodiac sign's future for the rest of the month.

Aries (March 20 to April 19)
Vgorbash | DreamstimeAries, represented by the ram, is the first astrological sign of the zodiac. In other words, they're the zodiac's aggressive and passionate fire sign babies.
Mars is in retrograde this month. Since Mars rules this sign, they could be feeling sluggish or burnt out — a contrast to the vitality and energy they're known for, says Robertson.
Aries people may also be feeling like their professional life is at a standstill due to COVID-19. They may be unable to do their work as normal or feeling less motivated.
When Mars goes forward again on November 13, Robertson says the pace should start to quicken and become a bit easier.
Taurus (April 19 to May 20)
Vgorbash | DreamstimeTaurus, represented by the bull, is the second astrological sign of the zodiac, ruled by Venus. Taureans are the zodiac's serene, determined and reliable earth sign foodies.
Robertson says Taureans might be feeling restless or craving independence during this period, as Uranus moves through their sign.
She says being stuck in lockdown in Montreal for another two weeks could be cramping their style. And until 2026, Uranus will be inciting a desire for freedom and independent thinking among Taureans.
The new moon in Scorpio on November 14 will push Taurus people to refresh, and this could foster new beginnings in love and relationships.
Gemini (May 20 to June 20)
Vgorbash | DreamstimeGemini, aka the evil twins, is the third and most hated astrological sign of the zodiac. They're known for their duality and their witty, sharp and speedy air-sign minds.
These social butterflies will be heavily affected by the lunar eclipse at the end of the month. Robertson says eclipses bring surprises, plot twists and unpredictability — not unlike Geminis' core personality traits.
When Mars goes directly into their friendships and community zone on November 13, they might start to move forward on community projects they've been working on.
They could also see resolution with friends they've experienced tension with this past month, or they could possibly find more time to devote to their friendships.
Cancer (June 21 to July 22)
Vgorbash | DreamstimeCancer is known for being soft, intuitive and highly emotional. Represented by the crab, the fourth sign of the zodiac is focused on self-care, moodiness and hanging out with their families.
Robertson says Cancers may be bickering more with their partner or have less energy to communicate in a healthy way. They may have trouble dealing with normal human dynamics at this time, she says.
The new moon on November 14 will affect their self-expression, creativity and kids. If they have kids, Cancers will benefit from devoting more time to them or trying to figure out how to be present with the stress of lockdown.
If they have an artistic practice, Robertson says the new moon may be a good period for them to devote time to their craft, or create a plan so they can keep working on artistic pursuits.
Leo (July 22 to August 22)
Vgorbash | DreamstimeLeos, the fifth sign of the zodiac, are infamous for being the kings and queens of astrology. These vivacious, fiery and loyal lions love to bask in the spotlight and celebrate themselves, and they make great hype-people for their loved ones.
For Leos, Robertson says the Mars retrograde has been in their area of travel and higher education. Leos in school might be feeling worn out by the semester and frustrated by the classes they're taking or with their load of assignments.
Since travel in Quebec is currently limited due to COVID-19, Robertson encourages Leos to find ways to expand their minds and their horizons that don't involve travel, like reading a new book, watching foreign films or learning a different language.
In their current job, Robertson says the money might be alright, but it probably feels like a lot of work without much progress. They might feel like they're toiling in the daily grind.
When Mercury enters Scorpio on November 16, it will affect Leos' home and family. While that might initiate communication with family or roommates, it could also bring news that's unsettling or surprising. So it's a wild card.
Virgo (August 23 to September 22)
Vgorbash | DreamstimeVirgos are represented by the virgin and are known for being detail-oriented, pragmatic and frugal workhorses. They're anxious earth signs, and they're focused on their health and being of service to the people in their lives.
Robertson says Virgos may be experiencing debt or could be anxious about money, or their income could be challenged by the pandemic in Quebec.
The new moon on November 14 will affect Virgos' communication, siblings and local environments, including neighbours. Robertson says there may be an opportunity for new life in those areas.
The end of the month's lunar eclipse will happen in their area of career — it might be a good time to start a communications project, blog, diary or podcast.
Libra (September 23 to October 22)
Vgorbash | DreamstimeLibras are the fair-minded, diplomatic and gracious air signs of the zodiac. Represented by the scales, people born under Libra are peaceful, fair and hate being alone. They're known for avoiding conflict and having an intellectual mind.
This month, Robertson says Libras may be feeling trapped in their relationships — especially family relationships — like they don't have the freedom to move or do their own thing.
Robertson advises Libras to remember that they naturally tend to be good diplomats, to avoid escalating conflict if it comes up, to take space if they need it and to keep in mind this phase will pass.
The new moon will happen in their place of earnings, so it could be a time to set a new budget for the month, especially if their budget has been impacted by the employment reality of COVID-19.
Robertson also says they may find a new revenue source or get a new gig of some sort by the end of the month.
Scorpio (October 23 to November 21)
Vgorbash | Dreamstime Scorpios are the scary, intense and secretive scorpions of the zodiac. Known for being loyal but having trust issues, these water signs make great ride-or-dies — if they like you.
The new moon on the 14th will be in Scorpio — it's the perfect time to set goals and intentions, as well as make plans for where they want to be, even if they don't have the freedom they'd otherwise enjoy because of the Quebec lockdown.
Robertson tells Scorpios that they might have a boost of confidence on November 22, when Venus enters their sign. They might have an extra spark to them or a more magnetic quality. They may also find they're attracting a lot of people and that meeting new people is easier.
Uranus is in their area of relationships until 2026, so Robertson says there might be an ongoing sense of individuation during this period, finding a relationship that's really unique and not heteronormative.
Sagittarius (November 22 to December 21)
Vgorbash | DreamstimeSagittarians are the ninth sign of the zodiac, and being ruled by Jupiter, they're known for being philosophical, outdoorsy and happy-go-lucky fire signs. Pro tip: don't try to tie them down in a relationship — they'll move to another country when you least expect it.
Robertson says Sagittarians will see their solar return on the 22, so they may be feeling more visible, like their name is out there.
The lunar eclipse on November 30 will be in their place of relationships. They can expect surprises or sudden changes in that area of their life, or they might meet someone new and be swept off their feet.
Robertson says it should feel like very potent energy and won't be boring.
Capricorn (December 22 to January 19)
Vgorbash | DreamstimeCapricorn, represented by the sea-goat, is known for being smart, hardworking and fully in control of their destiny. They're the CEOs, goal-getters and conservative spenders of the zodiac.
Robertson says Capricorns have been the hosts of the 2020 "shitshow." The conjunction between Saturn and Pluto has been in their sign, representing the COVID-19 pandemic and all the difficulties that came with it.
Capricorn people may have been carrying this year's baggage with them, and have heavy issues going on in their lives. Robertson says they've been tested in many ways and may have to take responsibility when other people aren't.
Mars was in retrograde in their place of home and family, so there may have been tension, conflict or fighting there. On the bright side, it's almost over — Capricorns have had the hardest year out of every sign and it's finally coming to an end.
Aquarius (January 20 to February 18)
Vgorbash | DreamstimeAquarians are the innovative, enigmatic and unique wild children of the zodiac. These rebellious air signs, represented by the water bearer, are the anti-conforming social justice warriors in your life.
Robertson says Venus will enter their area of career on November 22, bringing them a bit of luck, softness and gentleness — but not without a few curveballs.
Uranus is in Aquarius's home sector, so their environment may be in flux. They might want to move, or be independent of their family.
When the new moon on November 14 enters their area of careers, they may feel new energy or a fresh start in their work life. Some career activities may have halted and they may get the green light to move forward.
Pisces (February 19 to March 20)
Vgorbash | DreamstimeThese tricky little fish are known for being constantly trapped between fantasy and reality. Pisces natives are empathetic and compassionate water signs, but they may have trouble with a martyr complex.
Pisces will be most affected by the lunar eclipse at the end of the month, which will take place in their area of family and home, Robertson says.
They might find out they need to move or alternatively receive a housing offer they can't turn down.
Robertson says Pisces might have experienced a lot of financial uncertainty and that certain revenue sources may have been closed to them. On November 13, they may start to see improvement in that area.
For Pisces, Robertson says the Pluto conjunct in Capricorn is in their area of friendships — so they may be feeling inspired to volunteer, help out, or bring soup to their friends who live alone in Quebec.
