It could be difficult to breathe in parts of Quebec on July 11 as smog alerts and special air quality advisories have been issued for 10 areas.

A total of four areas are under smog alert — Abitibi, Témiscamingue, Lac-Saint-Jean and Saguenay — as "high concentrations of fine particulate matter are expected" and "smoke from forest fires in Ontario will cause poor air quality today," according to Environment Canada.
