Mayor Valérie Plante has shown her support for Joe Bidden and Kamala Harris on multiple occasions already.

On November 3, the night of the 2020 U.S. election, the mayor tweeted "Good luck @JoeBiden. @KamalaHarris, your high school city is rooting for you!" as Harris spent some of her formative years in Montreal, attending Westmount High School.

Yesterday evening, Plante took to showing her support for the projected new U.S. vice-president by turning a photo of herself into a "My face when..." meme.

Harris started her political career early by protesting her right to play on the lawn of a Montreal apartment complex, according to the New York Times.

But — by the looks of Twitter right now — it's clear this isn't just a win for Harris or for the U.S. It's a win for Montrealers, Quebecers and Canadians alike who have taken to social media to express their pride.
