Contributing Writer

This Saturday, April 3, a march against domestic violence will take place in Montreal "in the name of Rebekah Love Harry," a 29-year-old woman who died in hospital three days after an alleged assault by her boyfriend. He has since been charged with second-degree murder.

The march will begin at Cabot Square at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Organizers of the march wrote, "Join us as we march against domestic violence as a family and community on Saturday April 3rd at 4:30pm at Cabot Square [...]. A service and candle light vigil in order to honour Rebekah's life will be held at the end of the march at Dorchester Square at 6:00pm."

A GoFundMe page has been set up to help the family pay for Harry's celebration of life and the creators of it are also "pulling together money for [Cordai]," her 9-year-old son.

Harry is the seventh woman to lose her life as a result of domestic violence in Quebec in seven weeks.
