Buckle up, according to Premier François Legault's daily schedule, another 5 p.m. conference will be held today with him, the National Director of Public Health, Horacio Arruda, and the Minister of Health and Social Services, Christian Dubé.
It seems that the government likes to save the 5 p.m. conferences for important news and this will be the second one this week.
During the conference two days ago, new restrictions were added including the closures of gyms in red zones, mandatory mask wearing for outdoor activities when you're in groups of eight or more, a maximum of 25 people allowed in places of worship, among other things.
Legault also said on Tuesday that "if there is an increase, for example, in the number of cases in the coming days in Montreal, we're going to put the curfew back to 8 p.m."
At the moment, it is uncertain what will be announced during today's conference — so stay tuned.
