Watch out for that banana! After months of playing video games to pass the quarantine hours, you can bring your skills to real life. ekart's Mario Kart on ice in Laval lets you and your friends race live on the ice of the Place Bell.

The event has returned after a hiatus due to the health crisis. Organizers assure that it's doing everything to comply with public health rules.

Editor's Choice: Quebec Is Going To Drop Green Ravioli-Like Treats From The Sky But You Can't Eat Them

As in all other indoor public spaces in Quebec, masks are mandatory.

But the thrill of chucking turtle shells and fruit in the path of your friends remains.

Players will also still get to dress up in the costume of their choice.

On the ice, they'll have to navigate between obstacles and be careful not to collide with other racers to complete the course.

The icy floor ensures "crazy drifts" that mimic the treacherous tracks in the Nintendo game.

Music from the game will fill the arena to enhance the ambiance.

The events are taking place on Saturday, August 22 and Saturday, August 29 between 2:00 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Four-kart races last about 10 minutes.

Prospective players have to reserve their spots online. Tickets cost $25 each.

You must be at least 12 years old and five feet tall to race.

ekart also rents out its mobile 18,000-square-foot race track along with pollution-free and low-noise electric karts for parties or team building activities.

It calls the track "an activity that combines team spirit, individual challenge, adrenaline, and thrills."

So if 10 minutes of racing just isn't enough, you can bring the fun to you.
