A YouTuber who travels the world looking for food challenges took on two Montreal restaurants and somehow dominated them both. During a recent visit to Quebec, Beard Meats Food beat the Pizza Spano challenge, which only three other people have done in five years, and dodged getting a (mandatory) spanking at La Belle et La Boeuf.

He visited the unassuming DDO pizza joint first. Pizza Spano is a casual Greek-owned restaurant with a deceptively easy-to-beat food challenge. The meat lover's pizza is a 20-inch pie topped with every meat on the menu that participants have to finish in 45 minutes.

Those Quebec influencers now apparently scrambling to get out of Mexico have captured the minds, bitter hearts and now, even stomachs of their fellow citizens. On Wednesday, local burger chain La Belle et La Boeuf capitalized on the cultural frenzy ignited by that fateful flight to Cancun by jokingly advertising a fake new "Influencer Burger Tulum" complete with "gros jambon, gros piment, gros sans dessein" and "gros Ostrogoth."

In French, if you don't know, a "gros jambon" can mean a "big idiot." As can "gros piment."

In honour of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, all burgers at the Montreal restaurant La Belle et La Boeuf will be served on pink buns for the entire month of October.

The buns are made pink from natural food colouring and proceeds from each burger bought during the month will be donated to La Fondation du Cancer du Sein du Québec.
