Dr. Arruda Opened Up About His Complaint To Police After His Address Was Posted Online

On Monday, August 3, Dr. Horacio Arruda commented on the complaint he filed with the Sûreté du Québec last week regarding the public disclosure of his home address.

The national public health director used a question from a journalist on Monday to open up about the incident. He said he filed the complaint to protect his family.

He also stated that he does not believe it's in the public interest "to know exactly where I live."

Dr. Arruda's home address appeared on social networks and was shared more than a dozen times.

The Sûreté du Québec would not comment on the case since an investigation is currently underway.
