Statistics Canada (StatCan) is looking to hire a number of census workers in Quebec and several positions are still available in communities across the province. The pay isn't too shabby, either. In Quebec, positions are available in the following regions and communities as of February 8: Nunavik and Cree Abitibi-Témiscamingue Montreal – Ville-Marie borough Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu Montreal – Plateau Hourly pay varies by position, with most jobs paying between $17.83 and $21.77 per hour. In remote communities, the pay rate ranges between $29.25 to $31.25 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, be able to work in Canada, and willing to work mainly evenings and weekends.
