'Fresh Attitude' Baby Spinach Has Been Recalled In Quebec Due To Possible Salmonella
A popular brand of baby spinach called Fresh Attitude has been recalled in Quebec due to possible Salmonella contamination.
Fresh Attitude is made by Vegpro International, which triggered the recall.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency published an advisory on November 26, warning the public to throw out this product or return it to the store where it was purchased.
The affected products are 312-gram and 142-gram containers with a "best before" date of December 4 or December 5.

Consumers should not consume the recalled products.

According to the government webpage, "food contaminated with salmonella may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick."
It says young children, pregnant women and elderly people with weakened immune systems can contract serious infections from salmonella.
Healthy people could experience short-term symptoms such as: fever, headache, vomiting, nausea, abdominal cramps and diarrhea, it says.
So far, there are no reports of anyone getting ill from these particular products.
But the agency says it is investigating, which may lead to more recalled products.
