Environment Canada Is Predicting FROST Across Quebec So It's All Downhill From Here

Sooo are we skipping early fall or...?
Senior Editor

Believe it or not, Environment Canada has already issued frost advisories in much of southern Quebec for the coming few days.

The advisories cover regions across the North Shore as well as part of the South Shore. The Montreal metro area and Laval are exempt, though Environment Canada says "the frost advisory will likely be extended to other areas further south or east during the weekend."

Cool temperatures will allow ground frost over several regions of Quebec during the next 2 or 3 nights.

Environment Canada

The weather agency advises residents to "take preventative measures to protect frost-sensitive plants and trees."

The forecast for the next week shows highs ranging from 13 C to 21 C in Montreal. Nighttime temperatures will be between 3 and 4 C from Friday to Sunday.
