Contributing Writer

Are Miss Vickie's your absolute favourite Kettle chips? Have you bought a bag recently and they're just waiting to be eaten in your cupboard?

Well, you may not want to go biting into that chip bag too quickly...

The brand put out a voluntary recall "due to isolated reports of the presence of a small piece of glass found at the bottom of the bag."

The recall is on certain 40g, 66g, 220g, 550g chip bags and variety packs, and were only sold in Quebec, Ontario and Atlantic Canada.

You can find a full list of the exact products being recalled on Miss Vickie's website. Besides the ones on said list, no other items are being recalled.

The press release reads that "it's important to note the 'Guaranteed Fresh' dates and 'Manufacturing Codes' as these are the only products included in this recall."

The beloved chip company promises to "have initiated this voluntary recall out of an abundance of caution and care for [its] consumers."

And, tells us that "A small number of consumer concerns related to this matter have been reported to date. One minor dental injury has been reported to-date."

If you have one of these products, you're being asked to either throw it out or return it to the store to get a full refund.
