Of all the things we thought we'd see in 2020, artisanal soap shaped like ballsacks was not one of them. But here we are — thanks to a Montreal soapmaker.

Joe Taylor, 42, told MTL Blog he started his side-hustle, Deadly Soaps, a few months ago. He uses a 3D printer to print his moulds, as well as ingredients like non-detergent vegetable glycerin, natural essence oils and activated charcoal.
The ballsacks, however, are a new product offering.
"I like to work at home in my underwear. So making soap seemed like a good idea," he said. "I think due to the humoristic nature of them they've become quite popular."
In just one day of selling 'Sac Soap' on Facebook, he said he's made $400. The regular size costs $8 and the large size costs $12 so, according to math, he's already sold between 33 and 50.

"And I have yet to reply to about 20 messages due to sac lacking. That's why I'm making a lot more today," he added.
Taylor said he started the ballsack mould last week, creating "the nuts on a 3D drawing program." He also confirmed that they are not based on a cast of his own... um... set of goods.
He also clarified that they smell like coconut, or as he spells it "coco-nut." As opposed to Gwyneth Paltrow's "This Smells Like My Vagina Candle."
Other items from Deadly Soaps' collection are "Dope soap" featuring a cannabis leaf, "Fuck you soap!" which is a middle finger and "Vulgar soaps" that say things like "Dirty Fuck."
Taylor will also customize soaps with your choice of words.
Taylor said he's gotten about 10 requests for "wiener-shaped soap." Asked if he'd consider adding that or something more female-oriented to the collection, he said, "I just may."
"My girlfriend and I lack the space to do this adequately. We live in a small apartment," he said, noting he also sells antiques through a separate Facebook page, which take up a lot of room at home.
"We've been looking for a bigger place."
Taylor attributes his creativity to his mother, Carrie Jo Taylor, the Montreal-based author and illustrator of 18 books.
During our interview, Taylor got a text from his mom.
"Bet you never thought you would be famous because of your nuts," it read.
Taylor texted back: "Maybe because I was nuts [but] not for my nuts."
Who knew so many people wanted soap shaped like genitalia?
Well, I guess Joe Taylor did.
