Ever since Quebec's last pandemic-filled summer, drive-in movie theatres have been trending — from Ciné-Parc to Royalmount. This summer, there's a new kid in town and its locations might surprise you: the parking lots of Metro grocery stores.

From June 25 to September 1, Ciné Metro will be showing two Quebec films on 40 different dates.

The movie options are Félix et le trésor de Morgäa, an animated family-friendly story, and Nadia Butterfly, the story of a 23-year-old swimmer at the Tokyo Olympics.

Nadia Butterfly was an "Official Selection" at Cannes in 2020 and you can watch both trailers here.

Everyone who attends will also receive a snack box to enjoy during the movie and a surprise loot bag for when they leave.

You are required to register in advance.
