The government has presented its deconfinement plan and perhaps the most exciting thing we can all look forward to is seeing all our friends and family in yard hangouts.

The premier announced that as of Friday, May 28, private outdoor gatherings with up to eight people will be allowed in all regions of Quebec.

In addition, restaurant terrasses will be able to reopen and the curfew will be lifted on the same day.

Travel between regions will also be authorized and indoor and outdoor theatres and stadiums will be allowed to welcome back 250 people "per section for a maximum of 2,500 people."

"Quebecers of all generations are fulfilling their duty. Thanks to your efforts we can now announce a reopening plan," said Legault.

Beginning June 25, people with two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine "will be able to see each other in homes without a mask and without distancing," Legault said.
