Do you feel it? The way the positivity clings to the air? It's real and it's happening, Montreal, because a lot of us are finally feeling optimistic about pretty much everything that's going on in the city and it honestly feels so great. 

While much of the positivity is because of the Montreal Canadiens' magical playoff run, don't forget that there's Saint-Jean, the upcoming relaxing of health measures, the return of (tiny) house parties, and everyone's hot vax summer — plus there's a full moon on June 24.

The Vegas Golden Knights decided to troll the Montreal Canadiens in game five of the playoff semifinals. The American team decided to "invite" Céline Dion dressed in the Nevada team helmet and jersey. And one thing is for sure: Quebecers we're not happy about it.

Before the start of the game, an image of Céline Dion appeared on the giant screen of the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, visibly dressed in the colours of the Golden Knights.

A scene from Monday night's episode of The Bachelor has Canadians enraged (at least on Twitter) after the show disgraced our national dish — Quebec's provincial treasure, the poutine.

Preparing the bachelor to meet her family, Toronto publicist Serena introduced him to iconic Canadian foods. However, in an affront to Quebecers everywhere, the "poutine" was not poutine. It was chunky, greying gravy with a few pieces of drying cheese strewn on a bed of fries.

Quebec coronavirus cases have officially exceeded 70,000 this week, after the provincial government reported 637 new cases on September 24.

The current total, since the beginning of the pandemic in March, has reached 70,307 in the province.
