Céline Dion made her first major public appearance at the 2024 Grammy Awards since announcing publicly that she was diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS), a condition that has left the Quebec singer no choice but to cancel her tour.
Dion took the stage to announce the 2024 Grammy for Album of the Year, an award Dion won 27 years ago.

"Thank you all. I love you right back!" Dion said.
"When I say that I am happy to be here, I really mean it from my heart. Those who have been blessed to be here, at the Grammy Awards must never take for granted the tremendous love and joy that music brings to our lives and to people all around the world," Dion continued.
Wearing a white dress with a brown coat, Dion awarded the Album of the Year Grammy to none other than Taylor Swift, who made history tonight at the Grammy Awards after winning the AOTY award for the fourth time.

Dion was last seen at the Montreal Canadiens game in Las Vegas back in October 2023, making her appearance during tonight's award show all that more special.
The singer seemed in good spirits and considering her status as a music icon, it's only fitting that the Céline Dion was part of this year's Grammy spectacle.
Fans will soon be able to watch Dion's upcoming documentary, which will stream on Amazon Prime, touching on the singer's diagnosis and journey battling SPS.
