While prices for mobility in Canada are the highest in the world, its mobile data usage is among the six lowest countries in the world.

The European Union has recommended that EU member states lift non-essential travel restrictions for 10 new countries and Canada is one of them, bringing the list to 23 countries.

That means Canadians could be allowed to travel to Europe — just for the fun of it — sooner. But the final decision is left up to each individual member state and the EU's recommendations are not legally binding.

Canada is the seventh most gay-friendly destination in the world, according to a new MyDatingAdviser report ranking the "Best countries for LGBTQ+ Travel in 2021".

The report compared key indexes of attitudes toward LGBTQ2+ people across 34 countries. Canada ranked seventh based on social acceptance, sexual activity rights, civil union rights, marriage rights, adoption rights and military service rights, as well as anti-discrimination and gender identity laws.

Premier François Legault has often made a point to compare Quebec's COVID-19 numbers with those in other countries. In response to a recent such post on Twitter, some people expressed confusion about the point of the comparisons.

While some have celebrated the information, many other people questioned the premier's intentions when, on January 15, he posted a screenshot of a spreadsheet showing that Quebec is supposedly doing better managing the second wave of the pandemic than some other countries.
