The Ministère de l'Agriculture, des Pêcheries et de l'Alimentation au Quebec (MAPAQ) has hit a handful of Montreal fast food restaurants with hefty health inspection fines.

The MAPAQ determined many of the restaurants were not operating in accordance with its health and safety standards, some of which were fined for improper food temperatures and storage, premise cleanliness and staff hygiene issues.

The Ministère de l'Agriculture, des Pêcheries et de l'Alimentation au Quebec (MAPAQ) has hit several Montreal fast food restaurants with hefty health inspection fines over the past few months.

MAPAQ determined that many of the fast food spots in Montreal were not operating by its health and safety standards, issuing fines anywhere from $500 to $4,500 for improper food handling, temperatures, as well as premises cleanliness and staff hygiene issues.
