The Ministère de l'Agriculture, des Pêcheries et de l'Alimentation au Quebec (MAPAQ) has hit several Montreal fast food restaurants with hefty health inspection fines over the past few months.

MAPAQ determined that many of the fast food spots in Montreal were not operating by its health and safety standards, issuing fines anywhere from $500 to $4,500 for improper food handling, temperatures, as well as premises cleanliness and staff hygiene issues.

Here are six Montreal restaurants that were given MAPAQ health inspection fines:

Amir

Inspection Date: September 28, 2022

MAPAQ Fine: $1,000

Reason: According to the MAPAQ, Amir received a health inspection fine as the premises, vehicles, equipment, materials and utensils used for preparing, packaging, storing, transporting, labelling and serving products, and other sanitary installations, must be clean.

Centrale Bergham
