Yep, you heard that right — there's a secret bar hidden behind a shelf at the back of a high-end clothing store in the new mall. But don't go checking behind furniture in every store — Narcity Quebec's Izabelle Bee got us the inside scoop to save you the hassle.
This secret speakeasy is hidden inside M2 Boutiques, which you'll find near Sports Experts, on the side closest to boulevard Décarie. The store itself is a massive 11,500 sq. ft. space dripping in luxury — they've spent a cool $2 million on creating this sleek, modern spot. It's packed with collections from nearly 30 brands for both men and women.
M2 is where "internationally renowned brands meet emerging designers, creating a perfect balance between tradition and innovation," the team says. Think Boss, Lacoste, Paul and Shark, Emporio Armani, Scotch & Soda and Psycho Bunny, to name a few. Whether you're after a sharp suit or a casual outfit, M2 has you covered with top-notch styles and quality.

And if you're someone who loves a premium shopping experience, M2 goes all out. There's an in-store alterations service, personal stylists, and even the option to make an appointment with a personal stylist for made-to-measure items. Plus, you can sip on coffee, tea or even something a little stronger while you shop.
But let's get back to the real secret — that speakeasy. The owners, brother-sister duo Émilie and Jérémy Mercier, wanted to go beyond the regular shopping experience by creating something warm, personalized and luxurious. So, they added this exclusive hidden room to take things up a notch.
Once you find it, the speakeasy is the perfect spot to kick back with a drink and escape the hustle and bustle of the mall. You can even book the space for private shopping sessions, special event fittings or personalized styling appointments. It's designed to make every visit to M2 feel totally VIP.
And if you need a break from the fashion scene, M2 also has a relaxation area with some cool artwork on display.

About Royalmount
Royalmount is an epic project that was estimated to cost $10 billion, and while M2 Boutiques is one of the first stores to open, there's way more to come. Some luxury heavyweights like Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Tiffany & Co. and Saint Laurent are set to open soon.
When it's all done, Royalmount will have over 170 stores, 60 restaurants, a three-kilometre public art trail, a massive park and even residential spaces. There's going to be an auditorium, a hotel, office spaces and an aquarium too. Suffice it to say this place is shaping up to be way more than just a mall.
