Travellers can take advantage of the VIA Rail sale by saving 40% on the Economy fare in Economy class in the Quebec City–Windsor corridor for travel on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between May 15 and September 30, 2024.
On May 22, you can travel from Montreal's Central Station to Toronto's Union Station for only $39. The sale extends to different days throughout the summer, with tickets going for $54 on select Tuesday and Wednesday departures.

The VIA Rail tickets from Montreal to Toronto vary in travel time, between five and eight hours, so it's best to verify the schedule when making your reservation.
VIA Rail offers travellers free Wi-Fi, power outlets and the option to purchase any light meals, snacks and hot or cold beverages aboard the train.
Per VIA Rail's terms and conditions, tickets are exchangeable before departure with a service charge of 50% of the fare but are non-refundable. As for baggage, you are entitled to one personal item of 11.5 kg (2 pounds) and one large bag weighing 23 kg (50 pounds).
