A Montreal Dessert Spot Now Serves 'Croffles' & They're A Combo Of 2 Carbolicious Treats
Montrealers now have another place to try a big South Korean food trend . Holy Choco , a "dessert heaven" on Rue Sherbrooke, just added Croffles to its menu — and you can probably guess what they are if you combine the words for two delicious treats.
Forget about Cronuts (croissant donuts) and Cronut Burgers and Cragels (croissant bagels). Croffles are a hybrid of croissants and waffles.

Holy Choco describes them as "a heavenly fusion of a croissant dough specially developed for croffle then pressed in a waffle machine."
The dessert shop is introducing Croffles this weekend in four sweet flavours: kinder croffle, triple chocolate croffle, biscoff croffle, and berry croffle.
Savoury flavours will also be added to the menu: turkey & avocado and salmon & cream cheese.
Holy Choco isn't the only place to get Croffles in Montreal. Earlier this year, LApop started serving Croffle Pops — croffles on sticks with lots of topping options.
