WestJet is swooping into Quebec with new all-inclusive packages. As of November, WestJet Vacations will start sending sun-seekers from Montreal, Quebec City, and Saguenay directly to beach chairs in destinations like Cuba, Mexico, and the freshly minted Tulum Airport.
Partnering with resorts like Bahia Principe and Barceló Hotel Group, the airline is offering a variety of packages, including adults-only retreats, family-friendly getaways, and high-end luxury experiences. Quebecers will have direct access to over 20 sun-soaked destinations, promising plenty of cost-effective options to thaw out during or after the frosty months.

A win for winter-weary Quebecers
With direct flights launching to 13 destination airports, WestJet Vacations Quebec said it's targeting "destinations Quebec customers know and love." The new routes means travellers can look forward to exploring a wider variety of locations, including gems in Panama, St-Maarten and Costa Rica, without the hassle of multiple connections.
"We cannot wait for customers to uncover the exceptional value and variety on all inclusive packages available through WestJet Vacations Quebec, and look forward to helping them embark on their well-deserved getaways to the sun," said Lyne Chayer, Quebec VP for Sunwing Vacations Group.
WestJet began integrating Sunwing Airlines into its fleet last fall, with full integration expected by October 2024. The strategic move is designed to enhance sun and leisure offerings throughout Canada and has not affected Sunwing Vacations Group or its associated vacation brands, which are expected to continue operations as usual.
Anyone eager to lock down a tropical escape can do so through their local travel advisor, the WestJet Vacations Quebec online portal, or directly via the sales centre.
