Tie-dye is back in style and it's leaving a lasting impression on many of us. By that, I mean I see it all over Montreal streets. And, this is exactly why Louks Brewery decided to turn tie-dye drinking events into a thing.

From fashion runways to donuts, tie-dye is all the rage at the moment. And, beer-drinking never goes out of style.

So, what could be more fun than doing both?

Some people have been opting to get their dye jobs done in their backyards, while others have been spending top dollar for a stylish shirt.

This local brewery is combining this fun activity with beer, which is what we all truly need right now.

On Friday, August 21, between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m, Louks Brewery is throwing a tie-dye event, so you can leave with a colourful new shirt.

For $25 participants will get a white Louks t-shirt, tie-dye ink along with all the necessary tools, and a 16 oz. beer.

Not only is this going to be a fun way of creating some wearable art while chugging down a delicious beer, but Louks is also taking precautions to make sure everyone is safe.

Due to the current climate of the world, the activity will be held outside on the terrasse and social distance will be of the utmost importance.

The Louks team is comprised of a group of young Montreal locals whose passion and dedication to the brewery have gained them quite a bit of success in a short period.

The owners of this local nano-brewery told MTL Blog that they "pride themselves on quality and flavour."

They also let us know that they believe the tie-dye event is be a "fun and safe way of getting people to do something different while sipping on one of their many delicious beers."

As someone who's not a big beer drinker, I must say that their product stands out from its competitors, especially the Sour Cherry and Japanese Lager!
