On a list of dream jobs, "professional cheeseburger tester" would be pretty high up — especially for all the carnivorous foodie Quebecers out there.

BonusFinder US, an online gambling website, is turning fantasy into reality for the lucky winner of its newest contest — and Canadians age 21 and over are eligible to apply.

$500 To find the best cheeseburger in the United States

The gig entails tasting and reviewing cheeseburgers from a list provided, ultimately crowning the best in the U.S.

The exact number of burgers isn't specified.

But the winner of BonusFinder's professional ice-cream tester competition tasted about 20 different flavours before selecting his favourite.

According to the post, they're looking for "patty professionals with the perfect palettes to judge" based on: patty texture, patty seasoning, bun softness, bun taste, complexity of flavours used, relish and/or sauce taste, cheese flavour and creaminess, value for money, and quality of the ingredients.

You can apply here until September 28.

In the meantime, practice makes perfect.
