The GoFundMe page set up for the family of Mireille Ndjomouo, a woman who died due to lack of proper care in a Quebec hospital last week, has already raised over $20,000 in less than a week.

The page, started by Christine Ndjomouo, Mirielle's sister, is asking people to donate to return Mirielle's body to Cameroon.

At the time of writing this article, the fund had 569 donations and had been shared 1,300 times in six days.

"Let us help the family to return Mireille's body with dignity to her native Cameroon," Christina says on the page, translated from French.

A protest took place this weekend, demanding justice for Mirielle.
