Shia LaBeouf Spotted In The Streets Of Montreal In His New Movie (VIDEO)

Vanessa Kirby and Shia LaBeouf make a killer duo in 'Pieces Of A Woman.'
Reporter

Montreal has been the backdrop for many films and Pieces Of A Woman, starring Shia LaBeouf and Vanessa Kirby, is one of the newest additions to the list.

The trailer, which was officially released on November 17, offers a few snippets of our city. From parking meters to scenic views, any true local will be able to tell that it was filmed in the 514.

Kirby and LaBeouf are not the only big names behind this film, Martin Scorsese was the executive producer and Kornel Mundruczo the director of this emotional movie.

Editor's Choice: Montreal Is Offering Free Street Parking Downtown Every Day For The Rest Of 2020

The film examines loss in a complex way as it follows a couple's journey after a tragic home birth goes wrong.

There are many layers to this film. And, from the looks of the trailer, it is going to take viewers on an emotional rollercoaster, so have the tissues close by.

According to IMDb, the film will be released Thursday, January 7, 2021. And something tells me we're going to be able to spot even more Montreal locations throughout the whole film.

The crew began filming in November 2019 and wrapped up in Montreal in January 2020.

Although I was hoping to run into Shia, sadly, I never did, But, this movie of him in my city still fills me with glee.

Now here's to hoping I get to spot Halle Berry while she's in Montreal...
