Want the tea on where you can get brunch and a drag show right here in Montreal? Look no further than the upcoming Drag Brunch Montréal show happening at Grumman '78, Henny. The "Drag-Thru" event happening on August 22 is being hosted by the local queen herself, Barbada, and her guests to give you "brunch... but better."

Obviously, when things started to close back in March, it made Drag Brunch a little more difficult.

But leave it to drag queens to take a situation and make something fabulous.

Back in July, the team held the first-ever Drag-Thru at Grumman '78 in Saint-Henri, a drag show inspired by drive-in movies and drive-thru restaurants, that is as fierce and spectacular as any drag show should be.

I mean, if that was the type of entertainment I got at every drive-thru, I'd never go inside another restaurant ever again!

Two of the city's premier queens, Barbada and her guest, Kitana, will be hosting guests at a noon and 3 p.m. sitting on August 22 (postponed to August 23 in the case of rain).

And if that wasn't exciting, this isn't just any drag show. Nope, we'll be joining Miss Barbada, herself, as she celebrates her birthday.

Now if you're thinking about how fabulous a drag queen's birthday party could be, trust me — it's even more fabulous than that.

Like the first show, this edition of Drag-Thru will be filled with music, dancing, humour and a whole lot of sparkles and glam.

And I wouldn't be surprised if there were some surprises along the way.

After the show, you can enjoy brunch from Grumman '78, which is just as show-stopping as the performance.

Tickets are sold in packages between two and four adults, with an additional add-on for kids.

That's right... it's a family-friendly show, so the kiddies can come, too.

Everything will be taking place outside and in keeping with social-distancing measures.
