February is a good time of year to slow down, get in tune with your body and focus on your physical and mental health — and Grove Campus, a Montreal-based yoga company, is here to help you do so.

In honour of it being Black History Month, Grove Campus is offering "Y(our) Yoga Journey," an eight-day long virtual event that'll not only teach a yoga class but "Black history and culture," too.

The journey will run from February 15 to 22, every night at 7 p.m. EST on Zoom.

Each night will be led by different Black teachers in the yoga community from Montreal, Gatineau, Toronto, New York, Michigan and Los Angeles.

Every class will consist of guided practice, as well as highlighting a prolific Black Leader, including Maya Angelou, Fred Hampton and Erica Huggins.

The event is pay-what-you-can, with proceeds helping mothers-to-be in COVID.

"Let’s come together as a community to unlearn & relearn, listen with an open mind and heart, and focus on how to better move forward together," says Grove Campus.

Get ready for one of the most physically, mentally and emotionally transformative journeys you can take!
