8 Parks In Montreal That Have Tons Of Shady Trees

One of the best parts about living in a city like Montreal is that you can be surrounded by nature, without ever leaving the city. With the sun blazing down on our city, it seems as though each of us is searching for a place to hangout outdoors. And, as we all know, Summer 2020 is all about picnics in Montreal parks.

But the problem with spending your days outside is that the heat can often become overwhelming, which makes us all search for either a body of water to swim in or a park with a lot of shade. 

So, we took it upon ourselves to let you know which parks in the city have the shadiest trees.

This summer may not have started as we expected but that doesn't mean that we can't have some fun, in the shady sun.

Fortunately, Montreal is swimming in parks that are full of nature and trees that make them the ideal chilling spots all year round, but especially during the summer. 

So, go ahead and enjoy the heat while hiding from the blazing sun at one of these eight parks.

Beaver Lake

From shaded areas to waterfront spots, Beaver Lake is a great spot to hang during the summer months.

Parc Des Rapides

This spot has a ton of natural beauty that will make for the most picturesque day in the shade you have ever spent. And, as a bonus, you're right near the water so you get hit with a little breeze.

Parc La Fontaine
