What the police do know about these two is that they left the depanneur "on foot following the event," which occurred around 8:40 p.m. on Sunday night.

The SPVM confirmed that the stabbing happened in Montreal's east end, on 96e ave. in Pointe-aux-Trembles.

Following the incident, the victim was said to have been transported to the hospital to make sure she was okay.

"She's doing fine. We're not talking about life-threatening injuries, most likely minor injuries," Bergeron said.

There were no further updates about the event at the time of writing this article.
