For a few days only this summer, you'll be able to eat at a new Montreal eatery that takes the term "pop-up" to a whole new level. This hanging "restaurant" is suspended 150 feet in the air, and you can reserve tickets now to have dinner in the sky.

The gastronomic and adrenaline-filled experience is offered by a company called Diner Entre Ciel et Terre. It brings 22 guests, a chef, and two servers — as well as a platform with seats and a table — up into the air with the help of a 120-tonne crane. Each person is strapped into their seat with Formula 1 style seatbelts.

Once suspended, guests are served a VIP meal or cocktail flight depending on which option they choose. There's also entertainment, music, surprises and a stellar view of the city up there.

You can choose the five-course dinner and wine option for $225 or the 20-minute cocktail option for $75.

The full meal lasts one hour in the air and you can choose from several time slots on event nights. Cocktails are offered at 4:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

The event takes place at Golf Exécutif Montréal on Nuns' Island from August 18 to 21, and you can book your seat online.
