Wine not, right?
Contributing Writer

If this summer was the season of picnics, then the fall is sure to be the fall of incredible fall activities, like visiting some of the best vineyards that Quebec has to offer. Although la belle province boasts some of the best wineries in the country, Le Vignoble du Ruisseau is a definite must-add to your fall bucket list.

Le Vignoble du Ruisseau is located in Dunham in the spectacular Brome-Missisquoi region of the Eastern Townships.

It's less than an hour and a half from the city and when you arrive at the magnificent estate, you'll realize why it's totally worth the drive.

The grounds are surrounded by gorgeous nature and greenery that Brome-Missisquoi is known for. And in the vineyard, itself, you can get lost in rows of vines that can seem too beautiful to be true.

Of course, at Le Vignoble du Ruisseau, you can do a tasting of their incredible collection of wine.

Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Riesling and Gewurztraminer are all created with a passion and a quality that is the very essence of the vineyard.

But the tasting doesn't end there.

You can also head over to the distillery where you can sample gin, rum-style (with maple syrup and spicy rum-style), vodka-style (based with grapes), eau de vie (chardonnay, aged in oak, cognac-style) and more.

There's also a bistro on site that uses products 95% grown on-site.

That's right, almost 100%! That's some serious farm-to-table action right there.

Speaking of 100%, there is also a sugar bush that grown 100% organic maple. Although it's not tapping season just yet, you can get all of the products over in the boutique, including maple syrup and even maple alcohol.

Plus, it's the perfect reason to come back in February for the harvest.

How sweet is that?!

So if you're already planning your fall to-do list or thinking of a great last-minute getaway just because, Le Vignoble du Ruisseau is definitely a wine to remember.
