Get ready for the ride of your life! This massive mountain coaster is a short road trip away from Montreal and it takes you speeding through some incredible fall scenery.

The Cliffside Mountain Coaster, located just across the border at Mt. Van Hoevenberg in Upstate New York, is an epic autumn experience.

The attraction is about a two-and-a-half-hour drive from Montreal and is the "longest coaster in North America," according to the website.

The 1.4-mile-long coaster winds its way through stunning fall scenery and will immerse you in a wonderland of vibrant colours and mountain views.

According to Discover Upstate New York, the coaster "emulates an Olympic bobsled experience, running alongside the actual bobsled tracks used in the 1980 Winter Games."

As you travel to the top of the hill, the audio system in your "cliff car" will describe what it was like to be an Olympic bobsledder. You'll have complete control of the car on the way down and can choose your own speed as you race along the twists and turns.

There are lots of other attractions to enjoy at Mt. Van Hoevenberg, including bobsledding, mountain biking, hikes, a gondola ride and more.

Tickets for the Cliffside Coaster and other experiences can be purchased online.

Don't forget your passport!
