Calling all movie buffs! Cineplex is offering a budget-friendly way to catch a movie this October, with tickets priced at just $3.99 for select films.

While this deal is perfect for saving money on a family outing or a fun weekend activity, there’s a small catch: the movies on offer aren’t all brand new releases. So, if you're hoping to see the latest Joker film or the controversial The Substance, you'll still need to pay full price.

Instead, the discounted tickets are for classic family films shown at participating theatres. The movies are typically scheduled for 11 a.m. on Saturdays, but showtimes may vary, so it’s best to check your local theatre for details.

Cineplex has put together a lineup of popular family movies, offering a fun throwback for both kids and adults. Here’s what it looks like for October:

  • October 12, 2024The Garfield Movie
  • October 19, 2024Harold and the Purple Crayon
  • October 26, 2024Batman (1989, 35th Anniversary)
  • November 2, 2024Coraline 3D (15th Anniversary)

Tickets are $3.99 in person, or if you’re purchasing online, CineClub members can also get them for $3.99 (no extra fees). Scene+ members will pay $4.99, and non-members will be charged $5.49. Prices are plus tax.

The best part? These tickets are cheap enough that you can actually afford to grab that large popcorn and maybe even treat yourself to some candy or a drink—without feeling guilty about spending a small fortune.
