Montrealers will soon have a brand-new reason to hit the Old Port — and this time, it's for mini putt with a view.

Launching April 24, Mini Putt Montréal is a new outdoor course set up on the Quai des Convoyeurs, offering panoramic views of Old Montreal, the downtown skyline, and the St. Lawrence River. The project was created by local entrepreneur Samuel Cadotte-Holler, who's been involved in several other initiatives in the Old Port.

Fall in Montreal isn't just a season; it's a lifestyle. Did you even truly experience autumn if you didn't pick your own apples, sip on a Pumpkin Spice Latte, or hike up a mountain with stunning views of the foliage?

And that's only the beginning. As the leaves turn vibrant shades of red, orange, and gold, and the smell of cinnamon wafts through the air, the city comes alive with endless activities that celebrate the beauty of the season.

Labour Day weekend is fast approaching, which comes as good news for some Montrealers. It means the start of autumn (sort of), back-to-school season, and a much-needed long weekend to rest and recharge after a chaotic summer in the city.

But for other people, Labour Day weekend sucks. It means the end of summer fun and the return of class schedules, short days, and boots. So, why not make the most of the weekend and end the summer on a high note?

The construction holiday has come and gone, our Osheaga passes are sitting in the trash (or at least they would be if they weren't digital) and we're knee-deep in Pride Month festivities. Add it all together and it can only mean one thing: summer in Montreal is almost over.

In addition to dozens of food trucks and cuisines, the event will feature a new, central "Rue Culturelle" with new programming every month designed to showcase "the diverse traditions of the cultural communities that make up the richness of Montreal."

Film Noir au Canal, a celebration of cult-hit, hard-boiled crime movies, is coming back to the southern bank of Montreal's Lachine Canal this summer. The event draws thousands of film noir enthusiasts — and others just looking for a fun summer evening activity — every year.

Walks are the best way to get a peek at a city's soul: an intimate look at the neighbourhoods, parks, buildings and customs that compose an urban landscape. In Montreal, walkable human-scale streets and the accessibility of recreation infrastructure are core community values.

It's a fact you can hear as you move through the city, in the melodious pitter-patter of heels hitting the pavement during a run to the local dépanneur and in the laughter of friends enjoying a boozy park picnic.

Even though Christmas is over, winter definitely isn't. To be fair, winter has barely begun and there's plenty of time to enjoy the snowy season. And winter in Montreal means one thing: sledding!
