Hélène Boudreau, a popular and controversial Quebec social media personality, model and artist, was hospitalized Sunday after she was injured in a dirt bike accident while on a date, according to the influencer’s Facebook account.

“I said I wasn't meeting anyone... but today I decided to go on a date and do some motocross... verdict: I ran into a concrete block and broke my leg,” she stated in a Facebook post Sunday. “What a joy my life is. I'm going into surgery now.”

The provincial government held an important press conference on Sunday, September 20, to update the province on the current COVID-19 situation in Quebec. As of today, Montreal, Chaudière-Appalaches and parts of Capitale-Nationale are officially under "orange alert." During a previous conference held on September 8, the government officials unveiled the new COVID-19 alert system in Quebec, which contains four levels: green, yellow, orange, and red. 

On September 15, it was announced that some regions in the province moved from the green to yellow level. And now, three of those regions have rapidly made their way into "orange alert," which is deemed a "moderate" alert.

An event resulting in five reported gunshot wounds occurred very early in the morning on Sunday, September 13 in the Old Port of Montreal. The Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) had to intervene. And eventually, the Bureau des enquêtes indépendantes (BEI) took charge of the investigation in order, among other things, to confirm the information disclosed.

According to authorities, it was around 2:03 a.m., very early on Sunday that the police were called to intervene for a complaint of noise and loud music near the Quai de l'Horloge.
