supper club montreal

The newest addition to Montreal's thriving supper club scene is Heiress, a Westmount venue located in the stately Golden Square Mile neighbourhood. Its menu and atmosphere cater to the city's unending fascination with exclusive dining experiences.

The supper club — a restaurant genre that adds post-meal nightlife to higher-end dishes — comes from the team behind Westmount's Guilt & Ivy, led by Matt Coolen with executive chef Valentino Cucciniello.

Another weekend in Montreal is upon us, but this isn't just any weekend... it's the last weekend of July. Don't worry, we can't believe how fast time has passed either.

While you might think summer's going by way too quickly (and it sorta is...) there are still loads of things to get up to make sure you leave July behind with zero regrets. Greenwood is the passion project of some of the biggest names in the Montreal club and bar scene; Steve Havitov from TIME Supper Club, Tongue Bui from JIAO and École Privée and Jamie Sunny want to bring your soul and your tastebuds on a trip to Tulum.

Not knowing what the heck an "immersive dining experience" entails, I went to check it out — and if you're looking for a meal with a side of flair and pizazz, this is the place to get it.

Naturally, we started with drinks. The first cocktail to catch my eye was the 212 Spicy Margarita. I figured that a drink named after the restaurant means you're in for a treat, and I'm proud to say my theory was correct.

It's officially time to say goodbye to Club Le CINQ — or if you're old enough to remember, Club 1234. The shuttered nightclub located at 1234, rue de la Montagne is set to become a Japanese steakhouse and supper club called Geisha.

While we don't have an exact opening date yet, Geisha's website says it's "coming soon" and an Instagram post invites patrons to "experience Geisha" this winter.
