No matter what the COVID-19 situation is, the Santa Teresa Festival in Quebec says that the event will happen this year.

In an Instagram video, Teresa, the festival's figurehead and spokesperson, said that she "learned from a 5G tower" that the festival will return from May 20-23, 2021.

"It'll be a party in Sainte-Thérèse and it won't be Catholic pantoute," said Teresa, reporting live from her car. 

The festival was one of the first in Quebec to announce that it was cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic and was set to feature the activist band Pussy Riot as headliners. 

While no lineup has been announced yet, you can keep an eye on Teresa's updates on social media or on the festival's website.
