Wendy's is adding a 'Krabby Patty' to its Canadian menu and your inner '90s kid is healed

Are you ready, '90s kids? Prepare to set sail on a nostalgia-fuelled journey back to Bikini Bottom because Wendy's is about to bring the iconic SpongeBob Squarepants Krabby Patty to the real world for the first time ever.
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of SpongeBob SquarePants, Wendy's and Paramount have teamed up to launch the "Krabby Patty Kollab," and it's about to make all of your millennial dreams come true.
Starting October 8, you'll be able to grab a Krabby Patty Kollab Burger and a Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty at Wendy's locations across Canada.
So, what exactly is a Krabby Patty in real life? Unfortunately (or fortunately?) Wendy's version isn't made of barnacle shavings or sea salt. Instead, the Krabby Patty Kollab Burger features a quarter pound of Wendy's fresh, never-frozen beef, topped with two slices of melty American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, and a secret Krabby Kollab sauce (secret formula hidden, of course) on a toasted bun.
To really embrace the underwater theme, Wendy's is also rolling out the Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty, a twist on their vanilla Frosty with a pineapple-mango swirl. It's like Bikini Bottom in a cup!
According to the press release, this is the first time ever that a Krabby Patty has been officially brought into the real world and onto menus–so it's a pretty big deal for anyone who spent their childhood underwater with SpongeBob and the gang.
Landlubbers across the U.S. and Canada can snag the Krabby Patty Kollab Burger and Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty in Wendy's restaurants or through the Wendy's mobile app beginning Tuesday, October 8. Just don't wait too long—once it's gone, it's back to Bikini Bottom!
