This park with a 1-km ribbon of white sand and crystal blue waters is a road trip from Montreal

It's a dreamy spot for a summer escape.

Beach days and warm weekend escapes might seem far away, but you don't have to wait until summer to start dreaming.

This majestic park is home to stunning sandy shores and sparkling waters, and it's worth keeping on your radar for a warm-weather getaway.

Located just a few hours from Montreal, the park is a dreamy spot to spend a summer day, offering crystal waves and velvety beaches.

North Beach Provincial Park is a scenic summer oasis on the shores of Lake Ontario, about four hours from Montreal.

It's a quieter alternative to its neighbour, Sandbanks Provincial Park, with a "one-kilometre ribbon of sand," making it a dreamy spot for a summer getaway.

This hidden gem park offers more than 2,000 metres of silky beaches and a serene enclosed bay.

If you prefer a gradual drop-off into the water, you'll want to keep to the lake side, as there is a steep drop-off on the bay side.

In addition to swimming, the park offers birding, fishing and boating.

It's a popular summer destination, so you'll need to plan your visit beforehand.

While in the area, you can also check out Sandbanks Provincial Park, home to three gorgeous white sand beaches and rolling dunes.

Or, visit some of the region's quaint small towns, such as Picton or Wellington, where you'll find cozy cafes, quaint shops, and local gems. Prince Edward County is also known for its wine scene, so it's worth stopping by one of its scenic vineyards for a tasting.

With beautiful beaches and crystal waters, North Beach Provincial Park is a warm-weather paradise.
