The Cast Of 'Big Brother Canada' 12 Dropped & Quebec Houseguests Are Nowhere To Be Found
It's the second season in a row...

The cast of Big Brother Canada season 12 has officially been revealed and it seems as if production didn't cast any Quebec houseguests for the second season in a row.
The popular television series has had a few Quebec contestants before, including Kenny and Sabrina from season two, Will and Dre from season five, Eddie and Kyra from season seven, Tychon from season nine and of course, Tynesha and Lavals' very own Steven "Gino" Giannopoulos from season 10 — marking the last time any houseguest from Quebec was cast.
"It's time to meet your BBCAN12 houseguests," the official Big Brother Canada X account wrote (formerly Twitter) on February 28.
The cast includes 12 houseguests along with two mystery all-star players who will be joining the game later on.
Here's the cast of Big Brother Canada season 12:
The lineup of contestants includes five houseguests from Ontario, two from British Columbia, another two from Nova Scotia and a few others from provinces such as New Brunswick, Manitoba and Newfoundland & Labrador.
Most of the houseguests are between 24 to 34 years of age, except two players in their 40s.
While not a single Quebec houseguest is appearing in the upcoming season, it appears as if Alberta, Saskatchewan and Prince Edward Island were also left astray.
It seems as if Big Brother Canada fans were slightly peeved to see that no Quebec residents were cast in the 12th season.
Fingers crossed for next season.
Big Brother Canada season 12 airs on March 5, 2024, on Global TV. Fans will be able to find out who the all-star players are during the show's premiere.
