Calling all fans of Big Brother Canada! Montrealer Tychon Carter-Newman is going to be in Season 9 starting next week.

This year's competition will be a little bit different: houseguests will be competing in two teams, as opposed to everybody for themselves.

And the best part is that fans get to choose team captains. From now until Saturday, February 27, Canadians can vote for who they think should be captains. Captains will be announced on the first night and they'll pick their teams.

We know we're biased, but we think Tychon would be an amazing captain, especially after watching his cast bio video.

According to the release, "Tychon is prepared to charm the houseguests and play his way through the game, straight to finale."

You can get to know all about him on Big Brother Canada's website.

Big Brother Canada premieres on Global on Wednesday, March 3 at 7 p.m.

You can catch up on the action every week on Mondays at 9 p.m., Wednesdays at 7 p.m. and Thursdays at 8 p.m.
