According to the municipality’s website, the process is straightforward:
- Pick your lot from the available properties
- Put down a $1,000 deposit
- Sign an offer agreement
- Begin construction within 90 days and finish within a year
Once your home is built, landscaped, and approved for occupancy, you'll get $990 of your deposit back.
Extra perks
On top of that, you may qualify for the RM of Pipestone Residential Grant, which covers 3% of your construction costs (up to $6,000). The land is fully serviced with water and sewer, though some local improvement fees like street paving may be added to your property taxes.
