Yelp just came out with its list of the top British pubs in all of North America and only one Quebec pub — Bar George in Montreal — made the cut, giving Montrealers easy access to some of our continent's finest English bar fare.

At Bar George, this includes beef wellington, a full English breakfast with black pudding (blood sausage) and cream of mushroom soup — all washed down with a cold Pimm's Cup.

Bar George is located inside Le Mount Stephen hotel in the Golden Square Mile.

Like the building, the pub itself is absolutely gorgeous — much more opulent than your typical British pub yet still cozy and classic. 

Most importantly, a Yelp reviewer says the food "does not disappoint." Another calls it, "gourmet and delicious."
