You Can Get An Extra $10 For Food Using This Website To Help Quebec Restaurants

Stella Artois launched a new initiative that supports local businesses.

Montreal restaurants have suffered significantly during the pandemic. That's why Mayor Valérie Plante urged Montrealers to shop local and support small businesses this holiday season.

There's now a new way to support local restaurants while getting an extra $10 when you purchase a gift card.

Stella Artois has partnered with Quebec restaurants for the "Rally for Restaurants" campaign. The beer giant is asking Quebecers to rally for one — or more — of Stella's partner restaurants.

If your favourite bar or restaurant isn't on the list, the website says you should "Encourage them to join and check back soon."

[Restaurants] are an important part of our lives, and right now, many face the prospect of closing their doors for good. It’s not too late.

Stella Artois

When you use the website to buy a $25 or $50 gift card, Stella will top up your purchase with a $10 voucher.

The website says each establishment will receive a maximum of $1,000, for a total of $250,000 donated to the cause.

Local spots on the list include Pub Burgundy Lion, Les Enfants Terribles, Burger Bar Crescent, La Cage, Cinko, Fitzroy, Soubois, Giulietta and more.

The rally runs through December 31, 2020 — which means vouchers must be redeemed before the end of the month.

You can find more information on the Rally for Restaurants website.
